Experience Italy through the eyes of an architectural historian. From ancient temples at Paestum to the Baroque brilliance of Bernini and Borromini, this is more than a tour—it is an unpacking of meaning and motivation, relevant to your practice today.
We can create together an itinerary of 3/4 days or more to get to know the most beautiful cities and villages of Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano. In these and many other places you can spend unforgettable days admiring artistic masterpieces and splendid landscapes maybe while tasting the gastronomic specialties of this magnificent region.
Thanks to the fast trains that quickly connect Florence to major Italian cities, you can easily visit the treasures of Rome and Venice. If you wish, we can leave together early in the morning and return to Florence in the evening. In Rome you can admire the Basilica of San Pietro, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and many other beauties of the "Eternal City". If you decide to go to Venice you can be surprised by the wonder of St. Mark's Square, walk on the famous Rialto Bridgeand maybe take a gondola ride on the Grand Canal.
Milan is also easily accessible by train from Florence. Even the visit of the capital city of Italian fashion can be done by returning the same day including the grandiose Cathedral, the Teatro della Scala and the famous Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. But, for the discovery of the beautiful landscapes of Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, we will have to organize a transport by car or minibus. It is really worth it!
